My Pitch

First Pitch: An 11 year old boy who secretly has a crush on his friend's older sister who gets a boyfriend. Starts to plot against her boyfriend.

Second Pitch: Two young girls' parents pass away, the older sister is healing and moving on but the younger sister still communicates with her dead parents.

I would be more interested in making the second pitch. The second pitch is very easy to add so much detail to effortlessly. While the first pitch is good but there isn’t much you can add to the storyline within the first two minutes to really give viewers good content.  Using my second pitch I could definitely incorporate a lot of interesting events within the first two minutes of the film to really get my viewers hooked. I could even include a short little background story in the start about how the girls lived prior to the passing away of their parents. Then after I could show a scene of how they live present day which would be a drastic change. It can probably be a 2 year later difference or the next year. I can also show the difference between how the sisters act towards each other and individually. Versus the first pitch there’s not many extra details I can include besides how obsessed the 10 year old is with his friend’s older sister. An example of this can include him doing weird things like eavesdropping on her conversation with her boyfriend or him sneaking into her room while she isn’t home. But I can not include a background or or like scenes that show what happened in the past. Also I have more resources to film the second pitch than the first. I also have the actors that fit the description of the second pitch better. Actors that are more available and accessible to me. But the first pitch is easier to film. But the second pitch will just flow better. So I am going to film the second pitch.
