Filming Blog Take 2

For my last three scenes, I was not able to meet up with my other back up dancer because one of them were still not feeling well. As a result, I asked my two younger sisters be my back up dancers and they agreed. So now that I had new back up dancers I who are much shorter and younger than those I originally chose I made an adjustment to the costumes for back up dancers. Instead of wearing black hoodies they wore black shirts and black bottoms. In my storyboard I said that the lighting in the last three scenes would be a dark blue but instead it was more like a green blue. When I first tried setting up my lighting, I used the tv in my living room to give off a dark blue light from a YouTube video. However, when I tried recording I could hardly see anything in the video. So I tried using the flash on my camera while recording but when I turned on the flash it defeated the whole purpose of having the tv on. Because recording with the flash on made it unable for me to see the blue light at all. So in attempt to fix this I tried using a brighter blue light and this helped brighten the video and made the video more visible. I also used my laptop in addition to the tv to make the blue light even more visible in the video. For scene 10, I filmed the whole transition where I am already in the frame and my back up dancers appear afterwards. But I don't know if the transition will be smooth enough to be included in the video. Also for scenes 7,8 and 9 I don't know if the transition for that will be smooth enough. Filming scenes 7, 8, and 9 were very difficult, I filmed these scenes many times. Because I couldn't tell if I stopped walking into the frame and stopping at the right time. For scene 3, I re-filmed it and added lights in the video because it looked really plain before.  After filming all my scenes I decided to switch scenes 5 and 6, because I felt like it made more sense if my scene 6 came before scene 5 and the lyrics for that part of the song fit better.
