Production Blog-Editing

Last blog I finished filming practically all the scenes for my film. The only thing I was missing was the picture for the background for one of my titles. I wasn't able to do this last week because I did not have access to a printer at the time. But this weekend I was able to go a library and print the picture out to fit the picture frame. This week I did a lot of editing using this website called "clip champ". I added music to my video but I felt like it was too loud during the parts where there were dialogue in some scenes.  I didn't want to decrease the volume of my music for the whole video only for when the scenes actually started. I'm thinking about probably just cutting the music off after the last title slide I feel like it would flow a little better. I'm still indecisive at the moment but for now I'm keeping the music playing the entire time.  My final task was too long at first so I tried to shorten some of my titles. I felt like that was the best place to start because shortening the titles wouldn't throw anything off. I tried to keep my titles around the same length which was 7 seconds to keep a balance. I'm not quite finished with editing yet. I'm still thinking about muting the scene where Rena lays on her parents bed to "talk" to them but I feel like if I did this I should play the music in the background. But if I do change my mind and cut off the music after the last title then I won't mute the scene because then it'll look weird. I also started adding transitions in between my titles I have not finished doing this yet but I plan to finish adding these transitions by tomorrow night. When I watched my final task as a whole to see whether the video was rolling smoothly, then I noticed that in a few of the scenes "Rena" had a different hairstyle. Which I was very confused by and then I remembered that my sister got her hair done in between us filming. As a result my sister and I had to put our costumes back on and record those few little scenes so that the hairstyle was consistent the entire video. This did not take too long only took about half an hour to do. But I'm pretty much almost done with editing all I need is to add a few transitions in a that's it.
