Scene 1

-Ashlyne: "Rena?

-Rena: No response.

-Ashlyne:"RENA?

-Rena: No response.

-Ashlyne: "Rena, where are you?

Scene 2

-Ashlyne: "Rena, what are you doing? What'd I tell you about talking to yourself? And didn't I tell you to stay out of here?"                                                                                                                     

-Rena-"Sorry Ashlyne. I just wanted to spend some time with Mom and Dad before going to school. 

-Ashlyne: "Rena stop. Enough is enough. Mom and dad are gone. Now let's go before you're late.    

Scene 3

-No dialogue.

Scene 4

-Ashlyne: "It's time to roll."

-Ashlyne-"Rena let's go, you are going to be late."                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Scene 5

-No dialogue                                                                                                                                             

Scene 6

-Ashlyne: "How was school today? Anything new?"

-Rena: "Yeah, I made some new friends."         

-Ashlyne: "Oh that's nice to  hear."

Scene 7

-Inaudible tv sounds

-phone rings

-Ashlyne: *picks up* "Hello. [3] Yes this is she. [2] Oh okay.  [10] Oh really? well thank you for letting me know I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

-Ashlyne: "Rena can I come in?"

-Rena: "Yeah sure come in."

-Ashlyne: "We need to talk. You're teacher just called and told me that your grades and behavior has been very poor lately."

-Rena: "She's lying I've been good in school!" 

-Ashlyne: "Rena stop lying to me!" 

-Rena: "I'm not lying Ashlyne."

-Ashlyne: "You know what I'm done with you Rena give me you tablet."

-Rena: "This is not fair."

Scene 9

-Rena: cries into pillow

-Rena: "I wish my parents were still here. I wish Ashlyne never existed." 

-Ghost 1 (voiceover): "Be careful what you wish for."

-Rena*gasps*: "Who are you?"

-Ghost 1 & 2(voiceover):"It's us dear."

-Rena:"Mom? Dad? Is that you?"

-Ghost 1 & 2(voiceover):"Yes."

-Rena: "Where are you guys?"

Ghost 1 & 2(voiceover)*whispers from distance*:"We're in here."        

Scene 10

-Rena: "I don't see you."

-Ghost: "Look in the mirror"

                                                                                                                                     

Shooting Scripts

Scene 1

-Fades into her standing in kitchen.

-Diegetic sound: The food she's cooking in the pan is sizzling.

-Non diegetic sound: intro music still playing softly in the background gradually decreasing into the scene.

-Dialogue: When she yells out her sister's name.

-Cut: To Rena in her parent's room looking through their closet.

-Cut: Back to Ashylne in the kitchen.

-Dialogue: When she yells out her sister's name again.

-High angle: Showing Rena laying on her parent's bed

Scene 2

-Dialogue: Between Rena and Ashlyne 

-Pan: From Ashlyne's facial expression to Rena on the bed.

-Tilt: Showing Ashlyne from head to toe.

-Two shot- Rena and Ashlynn walking out of the room.

-POV shot: Rena sitting on the bed from Ashlynn's point of view.

-Shot and Reverse Shot: While Rena and Ashlyne were talking.

Scene 3

-Fades into her making Rena's plate in kitchen.

-Next shows Rena sitting at the table watching youtube.

-Then a tracking shot of Ashlyne bringing Rena her food.

Scene 4

-Tracking shot: Camera following Ashlyne walking out the door.

-Cuts to Ashlyne standing at the door waiting for Rena.

-Tracking shot: Of Ashlyne and Rena walking away from door.

-Dialogue: Ashlyne telling Rena its ime to go.

Scene 5

-Two shot: Rena and Ashlyne in the car together. 

-POV: Of Ashlyne looking at Rena in the rear view.

-Close up: Of Ashlyne's face.

Scene 6

-Dialogue: Between Ashlyne and Rena.

-Close up: Of Rena putting her seatbelt on.

-Close up: Of Ashlyne's face.

-Shot and Reverse Shot: While Rena and Ashlyne were talking.

-Ashlyne watching tv.

-Eyeline match of Ashlyne looking at her phone once it rings.

-Dialogue: From Ashlyne to the teacher.

-Tracking shot: Of Ashlyne walking over to Rena's room.

Scene 8

-High angle: Of Rena laying down on her bed.

-Shot and Reverse Shot: While Rena and Ashlyne were talking.

-Walks into room tries to turn on the room lights and they don't work

-Diegetic sound: Rena questing the ghosts.

Production Blog-Music and Problems

I was supposed to record scenes 5 and 6 this weekend but due to the weather I was unable to.  It was raining all day on Saturday, so I did not record the scene that day because the roads were slippery and I was prioritizing my safety. Then on Sunday, my parents weren't available to film from the passenger seat that day. And my permit requires me to be accompanied by a driver who is at least 21 years old in the passenger seat while driving. So I hope that I'll be able to film scenes 5 and 6 some time this week, maybe Thursday or Saturday I'm not quite sure yet. I'm just trying to get these two specific scenes filmed as soon as I possibly can be I do believe that they'll be the most difficult to film. I was also trying to film scene 7 on Friday but I couldn't because I needed to move the couch to in front of the tv. But I couldn't because the living room space was pretty crowded with just large boxes so I decided to hold off on filming that scene until this sp...

Genre Research: Drama

This is a powerpoint that covers the conventions we see in drama. In this powerpoint I stated a common lighting in drama, natural film lighting, and I also included an example. I listed a common camera angle in drama with a picture example. I also listed a common movement often seen in drama along with an example. Then I listed the common Mise-En-Scene in drama with examples. I then listed the elements of drama. I included 3 example films of drama. I also included the common sound in drama and an example video. I got my example video from YouTube. Inserting this video into my project was not very easy at first. But eventually I figured out how to insert videos from the internet into a PowerPoint. I listed what elements of drama that I liked. I also listed what elements of drama I did not appeal to me.
